dchenesWhile I realize it has to rain sometime, why does it always seem to wait until trash day? I guess it's the same theory as hanging out laundry or washing a car, which are both guaranteed to bring down rain upon you.
Nevertheless, it was a lovely three-day weekend (I'm choosing to forget that yesterday existed). I can't remember the last time a federal holiday weekend gave me a Friday off. For some reason having Friday off feels different from having Monday off. I did a fair amount of stuff that had nothing to do with anything, except giving myself a mental holiday.
This week I could use a mental holiday. I rather wish the monster SOP meeting had been the last one, but it wasn't, and it was two weeks ago, and the last meeting is next week. Therefore, pull out umbrella (just when I thought I was done with it, too), and yell CHARGE!
