And so, having departed on Sunday, I return to Boston with the following observations:

- I have (sort of) taught Dad how to play Civ 4, and the world may never be the same.
- There is absolutely nothing that tastes like cherry tomatoes eaten off the vine.
- I may need to invest in the DVDs of Foyle's War.
- When I gave work my cell number in case of emergencies, I didn't anticipate that "you forgot to turn on your out-of-office message on email" counts as an emergency.
- But it went to voicemail because I was off going swimming.
- The best way to avoid dealing with surplus zucchini is not to plant any in the first place.
- Breaking my caffeine habit resulted in a 12-hour headache, but that was all.

I suppose I should actually write down the stuff I need to do during business hours, so I remember to do it sometime in the next week and a half. I only ever seem to remember the existence of my safe deposit box on Saturday afternoons.
