dchenesThe fact that I left work at 7:30 last night was a minor triumph, because it could've been a lot later. It was P&R materials day yesterday. And I got the Longer Service committee attendance request out, too. Ha. Of course, all I could do when I got home was fall over, but that's pretty much par for the course on P&R materials day.
Today, as a reward for being a good kid and getting all that stuff done yesterday, I get to leave at 3:00 to go to the dentist. I don't wanna go to the dentist. But I like having teeth, so I gotta go to the dentist. I get to have a performance review meeting today too. Joy and gladness.
On the up side, I seem to have missed my annual October cold, since it is now November. I felt awful on Sunday and Monday, but it never turned into an actual cold. I hope that's all the getting sick I'm going to do this winter. Also on the up side, next Friday is a holiday. I can't remember the last time a holiday fell on a Friday. They've been falling on Mondays for the last couple of years.
It probably should have been a high-octane coffee day. I suppose I could do something about that if I really wanted to.
