dchenesMade it to Thursday, thank goodness. (Not that I was afraid I wouldn't, but I've been waiting for today for two weeks now.) We're closing at 2:00 for our office's annual winter festivities, which this year involve going bowling. Last time we did that, I found I was better at bowling than I expected to be.
I'm going to start 2012 by attempting to clear out (by which I mean give away) all the unframed embroidery I've got. Framing is hideously expensive and I don't even like some of the unframed pieces that much; I did them to find out if I could. I have two unfinished pieces, one of which needs some embroidery, a lot of gold thread and a lot of beading. After I finish that one, I'm going to do the three patterns I have supplies for, and then I think I'm going to go insane again. I said I was never doing another Heaven & Earth pattern, but this one hit me in the eye the first time I saw it in a catalog years ago.
Today's lesson: quick-drying whiteout is only quick-drying if you don't want it to be.
