re: weather: When did it get cold? I seem to be in full "I ain't getting out of bed until it's not colder out there than it is in here" mode. Which is why I hauled myself out of bed later than I meant to this morning. At least I got to bed before midnight last night, so by the time I was done with breakfast, I was awake. I hope the art studios are warmish, or I'm going to turn into a giant goosebump.
re: triumph: I win. I managed to make sticky rice on my electric stove last night without burning it. I wasn't really trying to make sticky rice, but it worked anyway. It probably wouldn't have if I had been trying to. I swear, when I'm in a position to decide what I want in my kitchen, a gas stove is first on the list.
For no reason other than there's no place around here to do it, I want to go apple-picking. I didn't go last fall, and the apples around here are really rather sad.
