Today is a better day weather-wise. I went out wearing a sweater but not a coat over it.

Cultural oddity of the week: There's no such thing as a multiple-choice exam in France, so French students have a miserable time with them here. Personally, I never liked the ones that give you a lot of statements and then ask you which combination of statements is true.

I made granola again this morning, and when I came home three hours after having put it away, it still smells like baking granola in here. Yay!

I went to the library after the French coffee hour and managed to track down and order two books I didn't think I would be able to get, and did research for my second Research and Writing paper. I'm cheating slightly with this one, because it's on how to do translation-geared research in a given field, and the field I chose was prosthetic dentistry, because I already have about half a clue where to find things like that. Most people are doing papers on something scientific or medical just because there's so much information out there. If I had chosen something like landscape gardening, I don't think there would be many research guides.

I wonder if I'll ever get around to getting all that laundry off my bedroom floor?
