coincidences and conjurations

Every so often I think the universe gets a kick out of playing with my brain. I was cleaning out my bookshelf, where I keep my tapes and CDs and such, and ran across a tape a friend had made for me. I hadn't heard from this person in ages, and I hadn't played the tape in even longer, so I put the tape in. Just now when I opened my e-mail, there was a message from this person. Now, I know I didn't conjure him just by playing this tape, but it certainly feels like it.
