Bibliography, federal taxes and county taxes are done. The state taxes, of course, are a pain in the neck, because Ohio apparently doesn't have a part-time resident form, and although Massachusetts does, I don't have one, so I have to download it. At least having done the federal form, I can now fill out the financial aid forms for next year.

Tonight's list: finish the financial aid forms and clean out the fridge.

Tomorrow's list: laundry, grocery shopping and post office (so I can send out the federal tax return via registered mail). And miscellaneous other things I've forgotten about momentarily.

I know. Thrilling, isn't it?

EDIT: Massachusetts forms downloaded and completed. Financial aid forms completed and submitted. Now can I get an assistantship, please?

Ah, Ohio. I forgot you were there.
Yeah, probably the reasons Ohio doens't have a part-time resident form are:
1) Not THAT many colleges and universities, but certainly a number
2) Who wants to vacation in Ohio (unlike the Cape)
I can see the advertisements now:

SEE picturesque Cleveland, bratwurst city, home to all-night polka festivals!
SEE lots of flat land stretching on for eternity with an occassionaly *gasp* hill!
Learn to love the corn.
Visit Ohio.

I'm from there (Oberlin, specifically), I know. {;

As it turns out, Ohio does have part-time resident provisions on its forms. You fill out the long form and it has a schedule attached so you can subtract all the money you didn't make in Ohio.

Next year I only have to do two sets of taxes and no financial aid forms. Thank goodness.

"See Oberlin, the natural springtime habitat of Brother Jed?"

I remember the Chinese circus, if that's what you mean. And the Flying Karamazov Brothers.
