Head for the bomb shelter!

For the next couple of weeks I'm going to have to start drinking high-octane coffee again. This is going to be interesting. I've been drinking decaf all semester, except for the one cup of regular coffee I drink every week at the French coffee hour. But now I've got too much to do and not enough time to do it, so I need more hours awake, so it's back to the high-octane coffee.
This is going to mess with my sleep schedule (that is, after all, the point), and probably everything else besides.
Oh, and I'm dropping off the radar completely between the 26th and the 4th, so don't worry if you have no clue where I went, I haven't been run over by a bus; I'm busy.

For now I'll just say this.
One bottle of Bawls over ice, mixed with about an ounce of Raspberry Sky Rocket Syrup make one Hell of an Italian Soda.
Sadly, Thinkgeek.com no longer sells Cans of Whoop Ass, so it can no longer be found there. It's a shame too, as it tastes much better than Red Bull.
Caffeina, the fickle goddess of productivity
Date: 2004-04-26 07:01 pm (UTC)I'm wrapping up a contract job this week (before starting a Real Job), and it's going to involve a lot of frantic on-site work at UMass Medical School in Worcester. Toscanini's Ice Cream is on the way to the Mass Turnpike for me, and so I think I'll start tomorrow (which promises to be every bit as raw and rainy as tonight) with a two-shot Hot Vanilla Latte.
For the foreigners reading this comment, Toscanini's hot vanilla is ice cream mix (14.5% milkfat) with vanilla beans steeped in it for eight hours or so. Pour some into a little metal pitcher, heat it up with the steam jet off the espresso machine, optionally add espresso, and you're drinking something so pleasurable you don't even feel the weight gain...
