Rice pudding as it is properly spoken requires raisins. The reason I know this is because I made rice pudding this evening, but I don't have any raisins, so I have naked rice pudding. Which is good, but isn't the real thing.

Ooh, rice pudding! Yes, must have raisins! How 'solid' is the rice part? (mushy or does the rice still have some texture?)
