I didn't go to karate last night, because at one point I realized that not going would make me happier than going. Next week, clean slate, start over.
Because I didn't go to karate, I ended up slipping on my kitchen floor and hurt my left knee. It didn't hurt yesterday (after the initial shock wore off), but today it's sore. At least I managed to keep ahold of the glass I was carrying at the time, and I almost managed not to fall in the first place. I slipped, got most of my balance back, moved my foot, went off balance again and hit the floor knee-first. Which will teach me not to wear SmartWool socks in the kitchen when I've had anything to do with cooking spray. When it falls out of the air and lands on the floor, it makes the floor very slippery.
