I decided that I could probably live without the turkey, but I really did want stuffing, so I went and bought the ingredients. It happened that the grocery store had duck on sale too. So I'm having duck in a couple of days when it thaws out.

I went to the lab this morning to finish arguing with WinAlign, and stayed there for four hours. When I got up to leave, I looked out the window and discovered that it had quit raining and the sky had cleared, which was a very nice surprise. I was caught up with the WinAlign project for probably an hour and a half, and then the next two parts appeared in my e-mail. It's a fairly busy week.

Tonight I have to finish the last 28 composition exercises and slap together a CV in French. And I really should get going on the draft of my SciTechMed final. And I have to figure out when I'm going to be where for Xmas and New Year's and all. I wish I were an amoeba, so I could split several ways and work on several projects at the same time. The fact that I remembered to pay rent today is a minor miracle.

I think I'm going to have to take up drinking coffee again.

Duck and stuffing - excellent idea! [livejournal.com profile] wren13 used to do that for me every now and then when we were dating, a tremendous treat. We've only had home-cooked duck maybe once a year lately, but one of those times was for Thanksgiving, iirc.
