Yesterday, the weather forecast for today said thunderstorms. I said, "In DECEMBER?"

I was right. What we've got isn't thunderstorms; it's intermittent downpours and high winds, but no thunder. The clouds are whipping along from west to east, so fast that I imagine it must be fun (or not) being up there if you're trying to go east from here. And it's about 65 degrees out. I've got the windows open, which is making things a bit difficult because I'm in full "week before finals and paper everywhere" mode, and my piles of paper keep blowing around. I can't complain too much, though; it's 65. In December. And I remembered to put my hair up before I went out, so it stayed more or less out of my way. This is weather suitable for being outdoors in (says I), if you don't have anything with you that shouldn't get wet.

If I get another 11 composition exercises done today, I'll be halfway through them. And I still don't have my final project draft back. I've been looking in two e-mail accounts and both campus mailboxes for it since Friday, and it isn't taped to the prof's office door either (although a couple of my classmates' project drafts are there).

Right. Time to go argue with the SciTechMed final some more. I want a draft of that done today so I can deal with the analysis, parallel texts, glossary, etc.
