So much for a good idea...
Dec. 12th, 2004 09:34 pmToday the snow was actually sticking to the ground, and I decided not to go out in it after all. (Yes, I'm lazy. And my body is sending me a lot of the usual end-of-semester "SLOW DOWN, idiot!" signals, meaning that it takes me a while to get going in the morning, and when I stop moving, I tend to fall asleep.)
Anyway, it's going to snow until Tuesday. Fortunately it looks like it won't snow on Friday, so I might be able to get to Boston without weather problems on the Akron end. I'm going to try to get both projects done and handed in on Tuesday, since one's due on Wednesday afternoon and the other's due on Thursday, and I want Thursday to sort things out and pack and do the post-semester pre-Xmas cleaning out stuff.
My parents called this evening, having gone to NH to help move my grandfather's furniture into the assisted living apartment he's moving into tomorrow. Apparently everything went better than anybody expected, and it's a huge weight off everyone's mind.
Speaking of minds, I have to remember to call the shuttle service tomorrow and arrange to get to the airport in the first place.
I want to make cookies or something, but baking for one is silly.
