We had a thunderstorm this morning and now it's incredibly warm out. It's still thinking about raining, but apparently it's going to do that until next Wednesday. I opened the windows anyway, because the weather around here comes from the west and the windows face south.
I went out in search of a method of carrying the Moose around. Apparently there isn't one, unless I want to buy another big mahonkin computer bag, which I don't. Oh well. Maybe I can persuade my old computer bag to work anyway.
I really want to find somebody who can make me a key cap that says SMITE. I think every computer needs a SMITE key. Useful for spam if nothing else.
Time for lunch (or is it breakfast?) and more messing about with computers. At least now the cable modem talks to both separately (I had to call Time Warner last night to get that sorted out, and they had to call me back. It only took two hours, counting time between calls, though). So now I unplug the cable modem entirely and set up file sharing through the ethernet ports. (Yes, I know that's what FireWire is for, but nobody in Kent knows what a FireWire cable is.)
This "backlit keyboard depending on ambient light" idea is odd. Nifty, but odd.
