Having had this haircut for almost a month now, I've decided I like it. It's about as low-maintenance as a haircut that involves mousse can get. So the question is, do I get it cut shorter, since putting it up only works when it needs washing, or do I leave it alone? And if I do get it cut shorter, do I wait and find out whether I get any refund on my taxes and do it with that money, or do I just go ahead and damn the torpedoes and do it?
Traditionally, I spend tax refund money (if I get any) on things I want but don't normally budget for. When I had income, that was splurge money. Nowadays, it's little indulgences money. I'm not sure where haircuts fall on that scale.
Besides, I don't have my W2 form yet, so I can't do my taxes, so I don't know whether I'm getting any money back, so this whole discussion is theoretical anyway.
If it would stop snowing for half an hour, I'd go grocery shopping.
