I sent off my resume and cover letter to my (current) dream job twenty minutes ago. I'm now soliciting good vibes, crossed fingers and any other sort of good luck you can spare to send me.

It's a new experience for me to be able to say "See this highly specialized skill set you want? I can do all of that." I think I like being in that position.

It's basically doing proofreading and editing of translations into English for a medical translation company in Brookline. As it happens, I know a fair bit about terminology management and translation memory systems, too, which is one of the company's major selling points to clients. So even if they don't hire me for this position, I could probably still be useful to them somehow. (Providing I can get them to talk to me at all.)
