Soup: chicken and spinach and cabbage and chickpeas and pastina, and whole peppercorns because I forgot to strain them out. They get soggy enough not to crack teeth, but you still know when you bite one. Good soup in general, though; it has green vegetables in it, which makes me absurdly happy, and I cleaned out some cupboard and fridge space, and as usual with soup, it's better today than it was yesterday.

Weather: sunny, but not particularly warm. If the snow is melting, it's being surreptitious about it. The sidewalks are clear, but not wet.

Laundry: still not done, because I haven't gotten around to it yet. I think I'll do case study stuff tomorrow and do errands today. (The errands in question are, of course, in three completely different directions from here.) I think I'll do the furthest-out errand first, come home, collect the laundry, go start it at the laundromat, go to the bookstore, come back to the laundromat afterward and go home from there when the laundry is done. All of which will hopefully be done by 4:30. (Oh, hell, hardware store should be on that list, too. It needs its own trip, though, because potting soil and laundry don't mix at all. Or at the very least, they shouldn't.)

Person: back down to 160 lbs, not sure why I got up to 168 last month and no clue at all where it went. All I know is that the one pair of jeans that didn't fit so well a while ago fits me again.

Brain: what brain?

[EDIT: Struck out on two of my errands, postponed the third and did laundry. In order to get a learner's permit here, I need proof of my SSN. I haven't had a Social Security card since about 1999, when my wallet got stolen. So I have to get KSU to send me a transcript, which apparently the BMV will accept as proof of SSN. They won't accept federal tax documents with my SSN printed on them. I don't understand why not, but I'm jumping through the hoops they want me to jump through, and a transcript won't cost me anything to get.]

thought on person section -- it could have been water weight.

What you describe happens to me all the time -- and that's my theory when it happens to me.
