When you get to the end, stop
Mar. 23rd, 2005 02:52 pmWET!
It's distinctly wet out. It's not really raining, but the mist is heavy enough to actually fall out of the sky. Now I know what my current haircut does when it gets rained on; basically it tries to frizz, and if it can't do that successfully, it sticks out in about six or seven random directions instead.
I'm glad I did the pruning yesterday, because if I hadn't, it probably wouldn't have gotten done this week at all. Even if it doesn't rain tomorrow, there's going to be a fairly high mud quotient out there.
I'm hungry, but I have no idea what I want. All I know is whatever it is, I don't have any in the house at the moment. I suppose I could go out again, but I just got home, and see above about it being wet out, and...this is what gofers are for, and I don't have any of those either.
Maybe before Friday, I'll get around to actually taking a day for vacation. The cleaning is done, the current batch of editing is done, my case study can go suck on a warthog until Sunday, and I feel like ignoring mostly everything else for a couple of days. I'm tired of burning up vacation by being productive.
Popcorn, that's what I want.
