steps forward and steps not taken (yet)

Things I got done today:

- The last of the last-minute editing (I have permission to slack for a week before I start again with the next round)
- Arranged for plane tickets for Boston househunting trip (finally used free ticket voucher, whee!)
- Bought groceries (including stuff I volunteered to bring to a birthday party tonight)
- Bought academic regalia (ye gods, the sleeves on a Master's gown are ridiculous! The hood is rather spiffy, though)
- Bought beer (I was supposed to be buying wine, but was uninspired, and there will be enough other people bringing wine to this party...)
- Found out that the third reader for my case study is not, in fact, going to be able to do it (he's on six other committees already)

Things I didn't get done today:

- Buy potting soil
- Re-pot my jade plant
- Track down the leak in the fridge again
- Get the clean laundry from last week put away
- Make any progress on my case study analysis (I will in the next couple of hours, though)
