Feb. 8th, 2005 03:05 pmMy shoulders still hurt, but most of the rest of things in general are good.
After I got done not tutoring anybody, I copied and put up the coffee hour posters Mark III, and then I went off to the library to hunt for articles. I forgot that anything after 1999 (1996 in some cases) isn't there on paper because it hasn't been bound yet, so that was a resounding failure. After that I decided I was going to come home and drop off the stuff I didn't really need to take to the drugstore with me, so I did that and went off to CVS. They had the color ink cartridge for my printer, but not the black one. So I got the other stuff I needed, and then got hit with a blinding flash of inspiration and went to the Walgreen's next door, which had both the black cartridge and the color one. I bought two of each, and decided that since I was on the wrong side of the intersection to take the short way home (and the short way home is very muddy anyway because it rained), I'd go the long way.
I'm glad I went the long way, because I hadn't been through historic downtown Kent in months. There's a new pet store down there. So I went in to see what all they had, and the answer is: puppies, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters, kittens (but not today), fish, turtles, birds, chinchillas, and a couple of kinds of rodents I'd never heard of. If I still had a fishbowl I would probably have gotten myself another betta; they had some gorgeous ones.
So now my printer is happy again, I got a bit of a fuzz fix from a couple of Norwegian elkhound puppies, the snow is mostly gone and it's not actively raining at the moment. Not bad for a Tuesday.
