somebody tell me it's not what I think it is...

There's amplified music coming from somewhere in the direction of Columbus Ave. So help me, if there's another parade or festival or something today and I can't get across Columbus Ave to the T station, I'm gonna commit murder.

I really, truly need a filing cabinet. The state of my living room is ridiculous.

On the up side, last night I finally found the mistake in my embroidery and fixed it. Somewhere around seven or eight, I lost count of how many times I've had to take bits of that section out and redo them. I think I've got it now, though, and the sooner I get that section done, the better. Of course, the next section is entirely metallic gold thread, which has its own method of giving me fits, but at least they'll be different fits.

I keep thinking it should be warmer out than it seems to be.
