boring domestic stuff

Due to the fact that it's been snowing all day, it's an excellent day to stay indoors and do some of the things I've been meaning to do for a week or so, like laundry, and marking the choruses in the Messiah score so I can find them without turning a bunch of pages, and stuff like that. Apparently the basement apartment is going to be empty for quite a while, shortly, so the landlord is giving me a key to the basement so I can do laundry whenever. (Hooray! Running out of clean work clothes somewhere around Tuesday is horrendously inconvenient.)

It's vaguely scary when your laundry hamper turns into an archaeological dig. Apparently it's time to dye my hair again, because I discovered my hair-dye junk shirt under the sheets I put in the hamper in October sometime. I guess I'm going off to the grocery store when I get the last load of laundry in the dryer. I need milk anyway.
