Yesterday was the first SOP meeting I've done things for, and apparently it went well, so I get to do it all over again next month. In the meantime, I continue herding cats. So far, sixteen of them are consenting to be herded in the right direction, although I haven't got them locked down yet.
Last night I decided I wasn't going straight home from Diesel; I detoured through Bartley's instead, because I'd been promising myself I could do that when I had a job again. So I did, so there. I ended up sitting at the near end of the counter, which meant that all the waitstaff was yelling orders in my ear, but it was worth it to put the carnivorous part of my brain to sleep again. YUM.
It feels like it should be later in the week than Wednesday. I don't know why, unless it has to do with having a short week last week, the week before off, and a 4 1/2 day week the week before that. Oh well, I guess it gives me another day to try to get some more cats pointed in the right direction.
