It seems to be a pretty good day all around, considering that my cat-herding is paying off and I'm making progress on three or four other things too.
I think I'll make curry for next week's lunch. I'm thinking about putting beef and green beans and potatoes and dried apricots in it. I'm not sure what else, but I know that curried fruit works, so definitely apricots. The other question is, do I put it on quinoa, or rice (I'm getting tired of rice, though) or couscous? Decisions, decisions...
When my mother got her hair cut short for the first time, everybody thought she'd had it frosted, because the whole underneath was grey, but the top wasn't. I think some of the same thing is happening to me. Or maybe it's just that I did a miserable job with the dye on the underlayer last time.
This seems to be one of those days in which any song I think of goes running through my head. It's been an interesting conglomeration so far, as long as I determinedly don't think of any songs I don't like.
