I hereby invoke lorac's Rule #1 on the rest of January. That's twice in as many months.

When one has leftover stew, and one wants a corn muffin to go with it, and one turns on the oven and gets the muffins mixed up and doled out and then discovers that the oven is about as warm as the outdoors, about the only thing to be said is GROWF.

So now the muffin tin is sitting in the fridge, because my landlord is pretty good at getting things fixed, and maybe I can make muffins tomorrow. At least it happened now, because I'm supposed to be making somebody a birthday cake in two weeks, and I would've been right pissed if that was how I discovered that the oven didn't work.

I still want a corn muffin to go with my stew, though.
