branching off into dead ends
Jan. 26th, 2006 12:01 pmMy document tracking database is at the point where I now have to learn code I don't know, or re-learn code I knew once. I swear I used to know how to get Access to look at a true/false statement in a record and, if true, put the record into a different table.
The one I really don't know is how to get an "if true, disable the next three fields" statement to work.
I have another committee meeting to set up for this afternoon, but other than that, everything I could be working on is at a stopping point, because it's all waiting for other people to get back to me. Every once in a while, that happens, and then I sit there looking bemused because how can I have paper all over my desk and nothing to do at the same time? I could always pile up all the stuff that needs scanning and do that when L goes to lunch...
Speaking of lunch, I have to decide what I'm going to cook tonight. I have a good long while to make up my mind, though, especially because I have to do the dishes before I cook anything.
