Apr. 1st, 2006 02:39 pmI considered, since today is April Fool's Day, posting something about how I had a haircut appointment today, and had looked at the weather forecast, and was running out of shampoo anyway, and had them shave my head. Then I decided nobody would believe me. :) I did have a haircut today, though, and had the back of my neck shaved, and ye gods, does that feel peculiar.
Anyway, after I got my hairs cut, I went up to the Economy Hardware in Allston and bought a couple of very large flowerpots to grow tomatoes in, and some potting soil. Then I came home and finally, after literally several years of wanting to get around to it, repotted my poor jade plant. I hope I didn't traumatize it too badly. We shall see.
I'm doing laundry, and I'm surprised that nobody else in this building is. Usually if I want to do laundry on a Saturday, I have to work around at least one other person. Maybe everybody's out doing things today? It's a good day for that too. It's not exactly a lazy Saturday, but it's a day to do things that make me feel better, and I haven't done that in a while.
