hair on fire

This has been a fairly insane morning, and I can't even describe why without going into a very long exposition. Suffice it to say that my job is a hydra, and I know better than to try to cut any of its heads off, so instead I've been clonking them on the head with a sledgehammer and knocking them out. Eventually they wake up and try to bite me, and I clonk them again. A new head sprouts once in a while, too, just to keep things interesting.

Isn't it August yet?
