various stuff
Jul. 14th, 2006 02:15 pmEye doctor appointment again today, which means I'm sitting here at work in my sunglasses again. I'm at the point where I can see just fine, but my eyes are still dilated enough to look odd, so I'm keeping the sunglasses on so as not to freak people out.
Staff meeting today too, at which Things Got Done, Dammit. This is good, because we never had the staff meeting last week because I was going crazy getting the SOP stuff done. Now at least we mostly know what page we're all on.
We're still working on the leftover ice cream from whatever day that was (Tuesday?). Not that this is a bad thing, but it amuses me that any time we have a lot of leftover anything edible, we start offering it to anybody who walks in. We feed the FedEx man and the Harvard mailman and anybody who shows up for meetings. So for the last couple of days, around 3:30, we've all been taking a 10-minute break for ice cream, along with anybody else who happens to be in the office for whatever reason.
I hope it doesn't get hot tonight, because I'd like to have one night of good sleeping weather this weekend.
What's the best way to eat Brie that's almost overripe?
