nothing of interest
Dec. 11th, 2007 12:35 pmTired today. I think the weather has something to do with that. At least there was less ice to deal with this morning. The ice at the bus stop was all unglued from the sidewalk, so I passed the time waiting for the bus by stomping on the loose ice and kicking it into the gutter.
It seems to be one of those days in which I get a lot of things done, but I can't get them done in the order I wanted to do them. At least since I can see that things are coming off my list (or that the blanks on the committee list are getting filled in), I know that I really am accomplishing things. They just aren't working out in the order that makes the most sense overall.
I'm attempting to fend off the Death of a Million Paper Cuts with some hand lotion which, because it contains almond oil, smells exactly like spritz cookies. I bet it doesn't taste anything like spritz cookies.
The regiment ought to invest in one of those fuzzy static-charged feather duster things, because Lily seems to want something she can wrap herself around and beat up on. I let her do that to my arm (in heavy sweatshirt) the other day, but I don't want her to get into the habit of beating up on people. She does seem to have gotten the idea that being picked up isn't a truly horrible thing, so I guess now I should figure out how to teach her that getting her claws trimmed isn't truly horrible either. She needs to learn that.
