I've wanted to make chicken and coconut rice for weeks now. Maybe tonight I'll get around to it. Although since my parents are coming up tomorrow, tonight is going to be spent cleaning things first and doing other things afterward.
I was going to go to Harvard Square via M2 tonight. I actually don't want to go there; I want to come home by way of the Allston library so I can return the books that are due tomorrow, but I don't know if that's possible today. What is with the underground explosions around Boston lately? (I know, I know, aging infrastructure. It was a rhetorical question.)
We had two database design meetings this week, and today's was quite nice. I appreciate hearing my uberboss say that what I'm talking about should be on the Urgent/Important list because I've been waiting for a year and a half while the other end of the process got sorted out.
My umbrella officially died the last time it rained. I should probably do something about that, because if I go buy a new umbrella, it won't rain tonight.
I also have to go deliver a couple of meeting packets, because I just can't bring myself to FedEx anything to a building I can see from here, and apparently the courier service is more expensive than FedEx. (I admit I FedExed a packet across campus yesterday, but that's because it was going to a locked building which I always get lost in anyway. I wish they'd arrange things so that quad-based employees have access to all HMS buildings, not just the immediate quad.)
ETA: Hooray! New No. 1 Ladies' Detective Agency novel! Also hooray, the traffic is running in Harvard Square again!
