if I only had a brain
Jun. 10th, 2008 03:01 pmOK, it's hot. I admit it. Can I have my thunderstorm now so it will cool off so I can sleep?
I did sleep last night, but I had a very odd dream in which I was shouting at the coworker who drives me crazy, because she had rearranged all of the files on my desk and kept insisting that her way was the right way to do it. The reason this dream was so odd is because I don't shout when I'm angry. Apparently some part of my brain wants to shout at her, though.
Then I woke up convinced it was Wednesday. I think my brain needs a restart. Too bad sticking a paper clip in my ear won't do it. (No, I have not tried that already.)
I'm debating with myself whether I want to spend $160 on registering for a translation technology seminar in July, which will most likely present a whole lot of software I either can't afford to buy or can't run without Windows (or, in the case of whatever Trados is called these days, both). But knowing what's out there is good, and possibly meeting people is good, and it's on a Saturday so I won't have to take a personal day. And it's in Boston, for crying out loud, so it's not like it's going to cost me food and lodging besides.
think think think think think *pop* OW...
