stuff and nonsense
Jun. 11th, 2008 09:11 amAfter the wind kicked up at midnight last night, my brain decided it wasn't going to shut off again for two hours, after it decided it wasn't going to shut off in the first place until 11:15 or so. If today wasn't SOP packet day, I would've called in sick this morning and gone back to bed for a while. This is going to be a caffeine-and-willpower day, I think. Especially since it's also a staff meeting day.
Two days ago I got a form from an information gathering service, attached to a letter from my health insurance. The form basically boils down to "are you in the process of suing anybody, or planning to sue anybody, for giving you a sore shoulder?", and seemed geared toward my saying yes. There were all sorts of subcategories for auto accidents and worker's comp and lawyer's contact information and settlement amount. I said I wasn't suing anybody in as many places as the form would let me, and sent it back, and I half expect them to call me and say "What do you mean, you don't want to sue anybody? Are you sure?" (YES, dammit, go away!)
If tomorrow wanted to be Friday, I promise I wouldn't complain.
