a very minor rant on feline psychology
Oct. 9th, 2009 10:12 amThis has been a very long week, and I've gotten a lot of work done, but I feel like I got most of it done in spite of itself. It's been one of those "do X, no, drop that and do Y, no, drop that and do Z, but what about X?" weeks, and somehow I managed to get everything done anyway by doing enough pieces of enough things in no particular logical order.
Snip is continuing to be a lap cat. The problem with Snip being a lap cat is that she is still fascinated with moving stringlike objects, including threaded needles, so stitching with her in my lap is a bad idea. Especially since she seems not to know what it means when I hiss at her. Lily, who was across the room at the time, looked alarmed when I hissed at Snip. (Of course. I am dealing with cats here, after all; why would the one who's supposed to get the message actually get it?)
Today is working on being a very long day, as is fitting for the end of a very long week. I guess I could go try to shorten it a bit by dint of productivity.
