Today is one part "how did it get to be Wednesday already?" and one part "What do you mean it stopped being November? It's been November for three months now."

Obviously, it isn't November, because the radio this morning played a very fractured version of the Twelve Days of Christmas. Thank goodness they actually gave me the name of the group after the song was over, or I'd have frustrated the heck out of myself trying to find it.

Today's at-work entertainment, so far, is the delivery of the new copier. Apparently somebody forgot to find out if it would fit through the door, and the doorway doesn't come apart, so the deliverymen and the technician had to take the copier apart fairly significantly. The technician has been putting it back together for an hour or so. I hope I can scan things with it before next week.

Since my iPod had its nervous breakdown, it seems to have lost some songs. They're still on the thing, somewhere, but they don't show up in the appropriate playlists. Silly me, I thought synching the iPod would fix that; instead my computer seems to have taken the iPod's version as the right version and disappeared the songs from the playlists on my computer too. ARGH. Maybe I do need a new iPod. (Which is sad, because I love this one. But I don't want it to keep losing things.)

Lily likes carrot cake. I was mildly surprised, but only mildly because she likes almost anything orange as long as it's junk food. It was more of a shock that she randomly leaned over and took a bite out of it than that she liked it. She doesn't usually do that with human food she hasn't had before.

In the office behind me, there's a steam valve that's been making a constant rattling noise for three days now. I thought I could live with it, but apparently I can't, so I'm calling somebody about it tomorrow. (I thought it might be prudent to ask the person whose office it is before I get somebody up here with a very large wrench.)
