Apr. 12th, 2011 03:44 pmYesterday our office continued its five-year streak of not winning any awards for which it's been nominated, but at least I got a field trip to Cambridge and a free glass of wine out of it. And the weather was lovely, besides. (And wearing the boots I was wearing made my feet hurt enough that I forgot all about investigating the cupcake store. Good for the eating habits, if not good for the feet.)
Almond butter and apple butter is a pretty good sandwich.
This being April, today was not Longer Service meeting day. I'm all in favor of it not being Longer Service meeting day. I'm lobbying (gently) for Longer Service to start at 9:00 next academic year, since the only reason it starts at 8:00 is because that's when it starts.
