PG Wodehouse is getting to be much of a muchness, but it's a muchness I like, so I keep reading them. I swear, three or four books I want to read have come out in the last two weeks. I wish at least a couple of them had come out this winter when I was bored stiff and in desperate need of something new to read, but c'est la vie. (Or, given the weather this winter, c'est la guerre.)
Today was entirely too nice to spend indoors, so as soon as the laundry hit the dryer, I hit the skids and went wandering. It was a very nice wander, but it proved that I desperately need new sneakers. I was sorta hoping to avoid that for a while because I also need new Tevas and (eventually) new glasses, but apparently there's no avoiding it. At least I can go to Marathon Sports and say "See what I'm wearing? Same again, please." And with any luck I can get them broken in before I want to go walking all over creation in them next week.
Since I'm in the pre-vacation "don't put any new food in the fridge" mode, and I didn't feel like cooking anything for lunch for this week, it's going to be almond butter sandwiches. (I wonder if almond butter buckeyes would work? Not that I need to find out, of course.)
