(no subject)

Theoretically, today my student loan dies. However, given the combination of a government agency and a bank, there's no guarantee it will actually die today (and I'll still have to send them a check for $6 or so to cover the interest that accrued since Friday). I'm keeping one eye on my bank balance and the other on my email, and twitching intermittently.

On a more cheerful subject, one of the silk floss orders I placed on Saturday night arrived from Utah yesterday. That was quick. Now I'm only waiting on two other orders from two other places. One of them is supposed to arrive tomorrow, and then I'll only be waiting for the linen. I'm in less of a hurry for that, since most of it is light-colored and it's summer and my hands sweat.

I took my necklace off on Sunday and forgot to put it back on again, and now I keep trying to play with it even though it isn't there.
