(no subject)

I spontaneously decided to go out for dinner last night, which hit the spot (how far wrong can you go with beer and a large hamburger?). Unfortunately it also seems to have given the Hairy Beasts a case of the Nobody Loves Us again. Snip got insistent about having company while she ate, and Lily hasn't had my lap to sit in since Sunday morning. She would have, if I felt like taking the computer into the living room so she can sit in my lap under it. However, I haven't, so she hasn't either. She went under the end of the comforter and sulked last night instead.

I bet I could make somebody's head explode in HR if I asked them why I can't use sick time to take my dependents to a medical appointment. The sick time policy says I can, but it assumes my dependents are human, and I don't have any human dependents. So why can't I use sick time to take the Hairy Beasts to the vet?
