Dec. 28th, 2011 11:47 amIf I've done nothing else today, I've reassured the Hairy Beasts that they don't need to be in my vicinity every minute (they're asleep on the bed, which is all the way across the hall).
Today I'm giving myself permission to ignore all the nagging "While I'm on vacation, I really should do this" things. It's harder than it sounds to stop nagging myself about them, though. The world will not end if I vacuum tomorrow instead of Right Now. And not being at work shouldn't mean I have to be accomplishing useful things at home. I'm getting a little sick of living by lists anyway. I never seem to get to the end of them.
