I survived the P&R meeting yesterday, just barely. It was one of those days when I got home, fed the cats, had dinner, and then spent the next three hours convincing myself that it was too early to go to bed yet. It was a long meeting, and it was a bit of a logistical mess, but the results were good. (Mostly. We're trying to iron out a procedural issue, about which the committee said "If we don't do what we're supposed to, or we don't tell you we can't do it until it's too late, you fix it in a way we'll like.")

Today is better, in all sorts of directions. I've been so busy surviving this week that I forgot Monday is a holiday. And this is the first holiday since October that doesn't mess around with the P&R schedule, so I don't have to knock myself out getting anything online this week.

Also, both cats were asleep on the bed when the alarm went off this morning. Yesterday morning Lily was nowhere to be found, and I didn't have the time to look in any esoteric places, so I was vaguely concerned. She appeared as usual when I came home, and was perfectly fine (of course).

Besides that, it's Wednesday. That means that even though this week has already been long, it's more than half over after today. And supposedly the days are getting longer, although I haven't noticed yet. I usually start noticing it being lighter later around half past February.
