(no subject)

I forgot that yesterday was P&R materials day. I just hate getting home too late to get anything done, even if what I want to get done is "something besides feeding self and cats". (Granted, I should know that at 6:30, a five-minute errand in Coolidge Corner will take at least half an hour to get home from. But I forgot that too.)

Today is quite a bit better, because both the Dean and the office manager are out and the P&R materials are posted, so I can catch up on a lot of odds and ends and emails. And I got to wear my Data Wrangler hat again. And it's gorgeous out, too.

Sometimes I wonder what in the world I'm doing with an iPhone, because I don't let it do everything for me. The idea of linking my phone with my bank account (or my credit card) so that I can pay for things with the phone gives me the cold robbies. But having a phone that can tell me when a bus is coming, or whether I've just missed it, is really quite nice.

Oops, time to put the Data Wrangler hat on again.
