(no subject)

If I remember correctly, the Luggage came from a "shop that wasn't there yesterday and won't be there tomorrow" sort of place. I discovered an Indian clothing store in Washington Square that sort of feels like that, although it's been there for a little while now and I just never noticed it. Anyway, I pick up my new tunic tomorrow, because it needed minor alterations. I didn't really need a new tunic, but I miss my salwar kamiz, so this is a replacement. (Sort of; it's a different style, but it made me happy when I tried it on, and that's worth something.)

This is a seven-loads-of-laundry-in-two-days weekend, because the regiment reinvested in sheets yesterday and then decided to wash the rest of the bedding besides. I probably could have washed all the new sheets in one load, but I suspect that my washing machine is older than I am, and I want to be nice to it. And besides, it would have been a shame for the new dark blue sheets to bleed on the new light green ones.
