dchenes: (katana)
Stupid brain. Having woken me up at whenever the hell that was this morning in a panic about lunch for the curriculum task force meeting on Tuesday, before it remembered that today was Sunday and I couldn't do anything about the lunch (or the meeting) today even if I'd wanted to, it is now refusing to admit that I have to go to bed. I have to go to bed so I can get up and go to work tomorrow and do something about lunch for the curriculum task force meeting on Tuesday.

However, having had a weekend that didn't involve either a ridiculous amount of dashing around or any amount of being sick, the idea of taking tomorrow as a "sorry, just can't do it" day is extremely tempting.

So what did I do this weekend?
- Went to sectional rehearsal for chorus (including spending the last 20 minutes glued to my seat while somebody had a seizure and the paramedics came and etc.)
- Went grocery shopping
- Finally figured out how to fix the embroidery pattern in a way that won't drive me to distraction when it repeats eight times
- Made braised oxtail (tasty, but not quite worth the effort for one person and one oxtail)
- Bought more embroidery floss, a mattress pad deep enough for my mattress, and a new electric toothbrush
- Got snowed on
- Provided lap space for Hairy Beasts
- Watched the Patriots/Ravens and Patriots/Colts games again
- Didn't get around to at least two rounds of cooking things and at least one round of cleaning things, and
- Debated the merits of letting the medical profession get at the bicep that's been sore since the first warm day in February, when I killed it breaking ice off the sidewalk.
