dchenesWell, now I REALLY need to buy a suit for interviews and such. In the course of figuring out what I'm going to wear for my case study defense, I discovered that everything that used to fit me doesn't, and everything that does is worn out or stained or something like that. I can jury-rig the tired skirt elastic and fix the buttons coming off the shirt I want to wear on Monday, but I can't get the green ink out of the shirt (thankfully I can just keep my blazer buttoned), and my blazer is slightly off-black, so it doesn't work with anything truly black under it. Oh, and one of the shoulder pads in the blazer has shuffled itself out of place and turned into a random lump. I argued it back to more or less where it belongs, but I can't really fix it without taking the lining apart, and that's a bigger project than I want to deal with myself. And there are no tailors in Kent.
So, I need a suit. And I need it BEFORE I have income, in order to get a job, in order to get income. Harumpf.
