dchenesWell, here I am, in Boston, discovering the wonders of wireless networks and laptops with AirPort cards. This afternoon I'm going to go tromping off to see a couple of real estate agents. I've got messages out to several Craigslist listings, and I really hope I hear back from at least one of them. If this apartment hunt wanted to be easy, and I could spend the end of this week hanging around and possibly job-hunting, I wouldn't mind in the slightest.
Yesterday was a minor adventure, because the weather in Boston kept us on the ground, in the plane, for an hour and a half. The weather wasn't great in Akron either, but at least we could have taken off in it. Then we got put in a holding pattern around Boston for half an hour. The entire flight path between Akron and Boston was solid cloud cover. I almost wish I had been going west, so I could see how far beyond Ohio is solid cloud cover.
Oh well, at least I brought my sneakers and my umbrella, and I do know how to swim, so I'm not going to drown if it really does rain all week.
