I guess this week isn't a total loss; I worked for a day and a half and just got off a phone interview. If (I'm beginning to hate that word) I get this job, I'd start on Tuesday.

I am not posting about NOLA, because I have no words that somebody else hasn't already come up with.

I am not posting about gas prices, because I don't care.

I am not posting about government, because I can't change anything for several years yet.

I am posting about my life, because that is pretty much the only area in which I am an expert and over which I have control.

[EDIT: I got the job! So I start, as a temp, on Tuesday, and hopefully get hired permanently.]

Well, if it isn't, I'll know by early next month. That's when they want to hire somebody permanent.
