So far today I've applied to Harvard (again; they reposted the job they wanted to interview me for), Tufts (again, not for the same job I had, though), and looked at Craigslist (again). I'm supposed to hear by the end of today whether or not the Hematology department job is going to happen or not. I appreciate them not wanting to leave me hanging, but if they're interviewing people for a position they don't know they can fund, I'm not holding out much hope for it. Now at least I feel like I've done something about it, so it BWH falls through, at least I won't have been sitting here pinning all my hopes on it.

My downstairs neighbor is home, apparently, and is blasting rap. I've got all the windows and storm windows shut and I can hear it perfectly well through the floor. In fact, I can feel the bass through my chair. That'll get me off the computer, all right. It will, in fact, get me out of the house entirely. I have to go up to Trader Joe's anyway, and it looks like a nice day for a longish walk.

Administrative assistant/executive secretary sort of stuff to pay the bills with, and translation to keep me happy paying the bills. Preferably somewhere I can get to on the T.
