retrospect and resolutions

In 2005:

- I had a translation published. (Google me and that's mostly what shows up.)
- I finished a Master's degree.
- I got a driver's license.
- I took the translator's equivalent of N.E.W.T.s.
- I moved 650 miles to an apartment I'd never seen.
- I turned 30.
- I got a new job.
- I sang all the choruses of the Messiah.

In 2006:

- I want to laugh more and sing more.
- I want to lose a fair bit of weight.
- I want to take the ATA exam again. (May 7, in Somerville, probably.)
- I want my life to have a direction. (No, I don't have one in mind.)
- I want to remember that being an adult doesn't mean I've outgrown having fun for its own sake.

That'll do for starters.
